Se trata de un indicador que determina la <strong>gravedad potencial de una ca\u00edda y permite anticipar el nivel de riesgo<\/strong> al que est\u00e1 expuesto el trabajador. Es importante tenerlo en cuenta, ya que marca la diferencia entre un sistema seguro y una situaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se<strong> calcula dividiendo <\/strong>la <strong>altura de la ca\u00edda libre<\/strong> entre la <strong>longitud del sistema de amarre<\/strong> utilizado. Su valor puede oscilar entre 0 y 2, siendo 2 el nivel m\u00e1s alto de riesgo. En este caso, no existe ca\u00edda libre (0 metros), por lo que el c\u00e1lculo es 0\/X=0. Aqu\u00ed la altura de ca\u00edda es equivalente a la longitud del elemento de amarre (X\/X = 1). Existe ca\u00edda libre, por lo que el sistema debe absorber una cantidad considerable de energ\u00eda. En este escenario, la altura de la ca\u00edda puede duplicar la longitud del amarre (2X\/X=2). Es la situaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s peligrosa, ya que genera las mayores fuerzas de impacto sobre el trabajador y el equipo.
